Harvest is all done for the year, and as usual, it was unique. This year we had lots of rain delays, a few breakdowns, and some challenges getting grain shipped out during harvest, but we got the job done.
One of the highlights of harvest is always "hot lunch Fridays." Erin takes the time to prepare a meal for all five guys every Friday and doesn't even hesitate when we ask her to bring it to the field. The food is always excellent and JJ gets to come visit Daddy and Grandpa at "wuhrk." JJ was a ton of fun to have in the field with me this harvest, and not only did she provide mealtime entertainment, but she would ride around with me, and even turn a wrench when needed.
