Mother's Day Weekend

I had a lovely Mother's Day this year, in fact the whole weekend was great!

We went downtown and walked around Riverfront Park, took Jayney on the Carrousel for the first time, and had a picnic too! The next day we went to the lake, spent some time just relaxing at the cabin, JJ learned to throw a ball, and we went for a bike ride in Harrison, with ice cream of course! It doesn't get much better than than, in my opinion. The best part was getting to spend time and make some sweet memories as a family!

      Jayney just loves her Daddy, there is no question about that fact! I think she has many good reasons too. Look how much fun they have together!

I can't even begin to say how grateful I am for having an awesome dad for my little lady... but I really cant take credit for teaching him how to be a good dad. Dusty learned that from someone else, but Jayney LOVES him too ;)

Peek-a-boo Spring

This Spring has been playing peek-a-boo with good weather. One day it is 85 degrees and beautiful and then it rains for a week... ah the Pacific Northwest! When it is sunny though, I think the garden flowers look even brighter. Add a cute baby and its a perfect day to spend time in the yard!
